Incredible Rainbow 2K13 (….a canvas for colourful dream) was held on 14th and 15th of Sept 2013-14.

The core committee this year decided to introduce a completely new event “Crafting” instead of Rangoli and Essay and it turned out to be a great hit. All the events were successfully organised by the respective committees. Instead of light spells of showers the total number of entries present for the event were 1299. It was a successful event overall. 

 

The event RAINBOW 2K13 was organized by ROTARACT Club of WCE Sangli under the Community Service Avenue on 14th and 15th September 2013.  The clouds of heavy rain was trying to disturb the event, but huge response from the student side & the flame of ROTARACT spirit burning in all Rotaractors helped to successfully organize the event.
There were overall 2211 entries, which were carefully handled by the club members. There were 7 FE’s, 4 SE’s, 3 TE’s & 3 BE’s in registration committee.
In, overall the event helped the Rotaractors to come together. Following number of students were present.

        Out of 2211 entries, 1299 participants were reported for RAINBOW 2K13.

        After two days of team-work of Rotractors, on the eve of 15th September, 2013 the podium was all set to felicitate the young buds who had showcased their supremacy in respective domains while participating in the events of ‘Rainbow 2K13… a canvas for colourful dreams‘.
The prize distribution ceremony was marked by esteem presence of Mrs. Neeta Kelkar (Vice President of Maharashtra State BJP) and

Prof. Amar U Paranjpe (Staff Advisor of Rotaract Club of WCE Sangli). The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting of Lamp and Worshiping of Saraswati idol.
On the occasion of Engineer’s Day Mrs. Neeta Kelkar greeted the audience for the same and later she invoked the parents to guide their children and help them to excel in their field of interests.
President of Club, Rtr. Chaitnya Rajhansa congratulated the participants of ‘Rainbow 2K13‘. Rtr. Rohit Jadhao and Rtr. Rucha Pataskar called upon the names of winner and runner-up participants and guests gave away the prizes. At the end the award of Best School was bestowed upon ‘Pradnya Prabodini School’ for quality participation of its students. The ceremony was concluded by vote of thanks from Rtr. Rahul Kabadagi, Secretary of Rotaract Club of WCE Sangli.
