We conduct various events under community service avenue each year. It includes a mega event, college wide blood donation camps and other college level and outside college events.

The mega event conducted under this avenue for this year is Karmyoga – सेवा परमो धर्म. Under the umbrella of this mega event, following events have been conducted:

  1. Blood Donation Camp ()
    A college wide blood donation camp was conducted in association with the blood banks from Sangli city. The camp received a overwhelming response from the students and college faculties as well.
  2. Uddharedatm – Uplifting yourselves ()
    A thought-provoking guidance session on the topic, ‘Spiritual Practices to cope with stress and challenges’, was organized. The event aimed to provide insights and guidance on coping with stress and challenges through spiritual practices. The Guest speaker of the event was HG Audarya Gaur Prabhuji who is the founder of Bhakti Vedanta Gurukul, Pandharpur and has a vast experience of 10 years in guiding youth for building their character and competence. Overall, the speaker’s insights provided a valuable perspective on the role of spirituality in managing stress and promoting holistic wellness. The speaker’s guidance was acknowledged as valuable and relevant, and the audience was encouraged to implement the strategies and practices shared during the session in their daily lives.
  3. Gramodaya – Uplifting villages ()
    This event was a series of street plays for villagers on the topics of alcohol prohibition and cleanliness and a awareness session at Budhgaon village. The event was aimed at addressing the negative impacts of alcoholism and tobacco addiction, as well as spreading awareness about health and hygiene among the villagers. Overall, the Gramodaya- Uplifting Villages event was a huge success, as it managed to address some of the most pressing issues faced by the villagers. The efforts of the Rotaract Club of WCE Sangli were appreciated by the villagers, who showed great enthusiasm and support for the cause. The event served as a reminder that small initiatives can lead to significant change, and that community engagement and awareness campaigns can help uplift the lives of people in rural areas.
