Gramodaya – Uplifting Villages (A street play and awareness session under Community Service Avenue)

Continuing the legacy of servicing the community, this year we conducted Gramodaya – Uplifting villages, at Budhgaon. The event consisted of street plays by rotaractors on the topics of alcohol prohibition and cleanliness at various places in village and at the end the awareness session for villagers by Dr. Dileep Patwardhan. Overall, the Gramodaya- Uplifting Villages event was a huge success, as it managed to address some of the most pressing issues faced by the villagers. The efforts of the Rotaract Club of WCE Sangli were appreciated by the villagers, who showed great enthusiasm and support for the cause. The event served as a reminder that small initiatives can lead to significant change, and that community engagement and awareness campaigns can help uplift the lives of people in rural areas.
