Ends are not bad, they just mean that something else is about to begin. With that thought, the farewell of the final year Rotaractors (2021 passing batch) was organized on 4th July 2021.
It was an online farewell due to the current pandemic situation. It was organized by second-year Rotaractors with the help of third-year Rotaractors on the Zoom platform. It started with an introduction and a welcome message by Rtr. Rutuja Birnale. This was followed by a lot of games and activities based on the journey of final year Rotaractors in the club. They refreshed their memories of the last four years with immense pleasure.
After the introduction, a video was played which included the final year Rotaractors’ journey and their memories. Following it, the “Memonic” activity was conducted by Rtr. Aman Pandit, Rtr. Vaishnavi Kadav and Rtr. Saurabh Jadhav. It was based on memes. They had to guess the meme, do mimicry of the same and dedicate it to some other Rotaractor from their batch. They enjoyed it a lot! The second activity was “Dare Game”, conducted by Rtr. Tanaya Firke, Rtr. Pooja Swami, Rtr. Sayali Katkar and Rtr. Pratibha Gawade. Here, they had to choose a random number between 1 to 16 and then perform the task assigned to that number. Also, a special absorbing activity “Musical Fishpond” was conducted by Rtr. Aditya Wagh.
In the end, final year Rotaractors shared their experiences, memories throughout the journey of four years in Rotaract. Farewell means not the end, it is just a ‘Comma’ to their journey in Rotaract, they will meet again and create more and more memories! In this amiable and warm way, the online farewell was conducted. This ceremony was concluded by Rtr. Saurabh Jadhav with the vote of thanks.
At last, we have just one message for all of them, “Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.”
