The GBM started with the Vice President’s order.  It was followed by the secretarial announcement which proclaimed the achievements and birthdays of rotaractors. Then the GBM was handed over to CSD team.

Rtr. Raj Mankar started with a motivating story of  Darpan Inani who is the highest rated blind chess player in India and the youngest to won the National blind chess championships.

Team names were given as:

Dale Harbison Carnegie: He was an American writer and lecturer, and the developer of famous courses in self-improvement, salesmanship, corporate training, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.

Joseph Girardi: Joseph Samuel Girardi, better known as Joe Girard, was an American salesman. Girard sold 13,001 cars at a Chevrolet dealership between 1963 and 1978, and was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the seller of the most cars in a year.

Initially Rtr. Raj Mankar told some strategies about how to sell anything, which was followed by a session wherein teams sold the product alloted to them to the customers from teams.This game taught marketing strategies to participants.

“Flipped Side” this was the individuals’ activity conducted by Rtr. Sonali Patil. In this session, each person from a team was given one behaviour which is generally considered as bad and they had to tell in which manner it is good.Team members also shared some of their real life experiences. This session filled the room with the laughter.

The last session was “Perspective Debate” on the CBI And Sarada chit fund scam in West Bengal. The teams were divided into BJP and TMC party. They had to put their points from the perspective of their party.This activity made everyone aware with the same issue and created zeal about politics amongst the members.

Before concluding the GBM feedbacks from members attending the GBM were taken.
