The GBM commenced with the President’s order. Moving on, President shared her views on one of the most popular books, ‘Alchemist’ written by Paulo Coelho. She asked everyone to read it once in their lifetime to raise oneself in the time of difficulties. After that, the GBM was handed over to the CSDs.
To spread the awareness about the scams happening in the banking sector, this time the CSDs came up with the theme of “Banking and Frauds”.
For making the Rotaractors acquainted with the current incidents happening in the banking sector throughtout the world, the first session was designed. The activity was taken on Kahoot, which consisted of MCQs and in the end, whatever points had been scored by teams were provided them as the investment amount for the next session.
The second session was an informative speech given by Rtr. Vedant Mahajan on the topic ‘United Nations’, where he threw light on all the aspects of UN.
The third session named ‘Fraud Hunt’, was a full package of brainstorming puzzles tricky clues and plausible plot. At each stage certain task was given to the teams. In the end they had to find the trickster who had robbed the ATM. As the session was designed in a brilliant and playful manner, everyone gained a good knowledge about how the frauds are done in the banking sector and the possible ways to save oneself from such kind of frauds.
The GBM ended with the President’s order.
