“Individually we are drops but together we are ocean”- this is what various sports in our life teach us. As it was the National Sports Day, today’s GBM started with history of National Sports Day which was explained by our President, Rtr. Shraddha Unhale. The GBM started with the presidential desk and she quoted the proverb “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. This was followed by a debate between two teams, one supporting the proverb and the other opposing it. The conclusion of the debate was that there should be a balance between our work and health.
Rtr. Raj Mankar explained about Innovation and how the innovations of the companies take place over the years. So, in the second session, two teams were given the task of innovating college premises. Each team came up with their great innovative ideas to bring modernization in the field of education.
The next session was a public speech given by Rtr. Samruddhi Patil, wherein she explained the strategy of the 50 smartest companies of the world and the reason behind their success. She gave example of the various companies like Xiaomi, Tesla, Facebook, etc. She threw light on case study of comparison between Patanjali and Dabur. She also explained the fact that only advertising doesn’t help for the success of the company, innovations play a key role for success.
The last session was a group discussion conducted by Rtr. Sonali Patil in which the teams had to make the marketing strategy for the developed and undeveloped countries for the innovations done in previous session. The judges of the group discussion were Rtr. Vatsala Singh and Rtr. Saurabh Kulkarni. Everybody was pretty much well acquainted with presenting oneself and rules to follow in the group discussion.
The GBM ended with the President’s order.
