The GBM started with the President’s order. The secretarial announcement was made which proclaimed the names of the Rotaractors who got placed and also the names of the Rotaractors who celebrated their birthdays this week. Moving on, the President discussed about some current happenings in the world with the Rotaractors. After that, the GBM was handed over to the CSDs.

The theme of the GBM was “Library”. Rtr. Aparna Pawar introduced the theme of the GBM by exemplifying the famous Einstein and an Indian man story.

The team names were:

1. Library Genesis: Library Genesis or LibGen is a search engine for articles and books on various topics, which allows free access to content.

2. Science Direct: Science Direct is the world’s leading source for scientific, technical, and medical research. Explore journals, books and articles.

3. Sci-hub: Sci-Hub is a website with over 70 million academic papers and articles available for direct download.

4. Pirate Bay: The Pirate Bay is an online index of digital content of entertainment media and software.

The first session was a public speech given by Rtr. Mohini Munde, where she gave a compendious speech on the topic “Consumer Protection Act 1986”.

The second session was “What’s your story”, where the teams were provided with a paragraph of a story and they were expected to continue the story from that point.

The third session was named “Perspicacity”, where the Rotaractors drew the plan for their libraries. Everybody showcased their talent on the paper and told the speciality of their plan.

The last session was “Caption it!!”. Volunteers from each team were asked to give the caption for the topic asked by the CSDs. Everyone enjoyed the activity and thus the whole room was filled with laughter of the Rotaractors.

After that Rtr. Vatsala Singh shared her valuable experience regarding the placement interview activity.

Moving on, Rtr. Shubham Jagtap and Rtr. Priyadarshani Patil released the poster of our upcoming event: “SPADILLE”.

Before concluding the GBM, the Core Committee for the event under Community Service Avenue, “Adhyaya” was declared.

The GBM ended with the President’s order.
