Today’s GBM was initiated by the president. In his talk, he focused on ‘RIO OLYMPICS 2016’. In that, players under different scams, views about – ‘are politicians or people of India responsible for India’s performance in Olympics’ were shared. Further, there was secretarial announcement about birthdays celebrated in last week and placements of B.Tech Rotaractors.
Club Service was conducted by Asst. Club Service Director Rtr. Supriya Dhavalshankh, Club Service Co-ordinators Rtr. Abhishek Patil and Rtr. Shraddha Unhale.
This time the team names were different RTO passing numbers. The team names were as follows:
1. MP- 40
2. UP- 46
3. GJ- 16
Firstly, FABLE a group building activity was taken. Each team had to send their 6 members one after the other to draw a sketch on black board in 3 minutes and were supposed to depict a story. And one of the other teams was supposed to elaborate the story of opponent team by judging the sketch.
After this activity, THE PUBLIC SPEECH was delivered by Rtr. Shraddha Unhale on topic MINIMALISM. The speech mainly focused on- ‘How materialistic people have become in 21st century!’And the speech ended with giving a valuable message- Money doesn’t give happiness, experience does.
Next to this, PROME was conducted. In this activity some incomplete non-fiction sentences were displayed on screen and randomly anyone was supposed to complete those sentences.
The last session was GADGET MANIA, in which information about new gadgets with their ratings was given.
The GBM was concluded with the order of the President.
